Set on a corner of Beach and Queens Roads in Sea Point, The Peninsula is an all- suite hotel and timeshare development, which was officially opened in September 1990.
The shell of the 40 year old Albenor Hotel formed part of the overall building, lending a " late Sea Point art deco" character to that of a contemporary design in keeping with the five star status demanded. Situated on a prime stretch of Cape coastline beneath Lion's Head, The Peninsula's 110 truly oversized and luxurious suites offer magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean and Robben Island.
